God's kind of love

Lately, I've been thinking a lot about God's love. I've been pondering how we humans so often seem to either ignore Him completely, or angrily rail away at Him blaming Him for everything wrong in our lives. And God? He just lets us have our tantrums and sulks without getting angry back at us or blowing us off completely. He just keeps loving us, forgiving us and giving us blessings even when we don't appreciate it and certainly don't deserve it. He keeps quietly checking back in to see if we're finally ready to love Him back and then eventually to share His amazing kind of love with others. He makes loving in the face of hatred or apathy look so easy ... until we try to show love His way. I don't know how He does it. That's something that I think will take all eternity to learn!

We're all broken in some way. In a way it makes sense that fully remediation has to be an act of God.
